cookie's fortune

Had a late apres-movie dinner at Mr. Ho's Wonton House that was scrumdidliumptious. Nothing like good, fast Chinese comfort food to cap off a fun evening with my older sister. Haven't had Chinese food from a restaurant that doles out fortune cookies at the end of a meal, so I was quite excited to crack mine open. Got a good one too! (At least I thought so.)

a change of heart may lead to a new living environment

Yippee! Perhaps this means that I'll finally move out of my parent's place and be like, all grown-up and everything...

rapunzel

E-mailed a friend of mine at work today...

it's been a scream-and-tear-my-hair-out kind of day today. good thing my hair's actually long enough to pull at these days. makes hair-pulling at lot less futile. it's hard to pull at closely cropped hair without it ending in futility. i just end up looking like i'm attempting to style my hair or something.

Lately, my sister has been razzing me about 'growing my hair out.' I pointed out that I'm not 'growing my hair out' but simply 'letting it grow.' There's a difference. 'Growing my hair out' implies that I am actively doing stuff in an effort to make it grow longer, faster, whatever. Whereas, I'm not really doing anything. I'm just not impeding it growth by going to the barbershop. Active vs. passive. See the difference? It's all about semantics. Plus, 'growing my hair out' just sounds plain girly.

Crap! I just realized that I'm writing a blog about my hair. If that's not girly, then I don't know what is. Double crap! Crap Sandwich!

testing, tesing, 1-2-3...

My first post. I feel like I should say something memorable or at least witty.

Ah, screw it! The pressure is too much to handle. No wise platitudes or witticisms today. Better luck tomorrow...
